1. Overview

AMP Game Hosting provides game server hosting, AMP control panel access, server management tools, support, and related infrastructure services. To operate those services, we may collect and process information about customers, authorized users, visitors, server administrators, and support contacts.

This policy applies to the AMP Game Hosting website, customer communications, AMP-related access, hosted game servers, support workflows, billing-related interactions, monitoring, security logging, and related services.

This Privacy Policy is a working template. Before using it as a final public policy, have it reviewed by a qualified attorney and update the placeholders to match your actual billing provider, support methods, analytics tools, and data practices.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: name, username, email address, account identifiers, login details, and contact information.
  • Billing information: invoice details, transaction status, payment history, plan selection, and billing contact details.
  • Support information: messages, support tickets, Discord messages, emails, screenshots, logs, and files you provide for troubleshooting.
  • Service configuration: selected game type, server name, instance settings, resource allocation, plugins, mods, ports, and configuration values.
  • Website information: pages visited, approximate timestamps, referring pages, browser details, device information, and basic usage data.
  • Security information: login attempts, IP addresses, abuse reports, administrative actions, access logs, and suspicious activity records.

3. Server and Technical Data

Hosted game servers may generate or store technical and gameplay-related data. This can include world files, saves, logs, player identifiers, ban lists, allowlists, chat logs, configuration files, mod data, plugin data, crash reports, and diagnostic information.

Some game servers may process player names, IP addresses, platform IDs, usernames, chat content, gameplay logs, or other data depending on the game, server software, mods, plugins, and configuration chosen by the customer or server administrator.

Customers and server administrators are responsible for how they configure their game servers, what data their servers collect, what mods or plugins they install, and how they communicate server rules or privacy expectations to their players.

4. How We Use Information

We may use collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the hosting service.
  • Create, authenticate, manage, and secure accounts.
  • Provision, configure, monitor, restart, repair, or support game servers.
  • Process billing, invoices, subscriptions, payment status, and account standing.
  • Respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, and investigate incidents.
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, malware, denial-of-service activity, unauthorized access, and policy violations.
  • Enforce our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and other service rules.
  • Communicate service updates, maintenance notices, security alerts, account notices, and support responses.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, provider, network, or law enforcement obligations where applicable.

5. Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell personal information to advertisers. We may share information when needed to operate the service, comply with obligations, protect the platform, or work with trusted service providers.

Information may be shared with providers that support hosting, infrastructure, monitoring, billing, payment processing, domain/DNS, email delivery, support systems, analytics, security, backups, or abuse handling.

We may also disclose information if we believe it is necessary to:

  • Comply with law, legal process, court order, subpoena, or lawful request.
  • Investigate or respond to abuse, fraud, security incidents, or network threats.
  • Protect our rights, property, infrastructure, users, customers, or third parties.
  • Enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements.
  • Transfer information as part of a business transfer, merger, restructuring, or sale of assets.

6. Payments and Billing

If paid services are offered, payments may be processed by third-party payment processors. We may receive limited billing information, such as transaction status, customer identifier, invoice status, plan, payment confirmation, and billing contact information.

We generally do not store full payment card numbers directly on our hosting systems. Payment data is typically handled by the payment processor according to its own terms and privacy policy.

Replace this section with the name of your actual payment provider once billing is active.

7. Logs, Security, and Abuse Prevention

We may collect and review logs to maintain service reliability, investigate outages, troubleshoot technical issues, detect abuse, protect the network, and enforce service rules.

Logs may include IP addresses, timestamps, request paths, error messages, login attempts, server status, system events, administrative actions, crash details, and security alerts.

If a server is involved in abuse, security incidents, suspected illegal activity, policy violations, or network threats, we may inspect relevant logs, files, configurations, or account information as needed to respond.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, and operate backups or security systems.

Server files, worlds, saves, backups, logs, and account data may be deleted after cancellation, non-payment, suspension, expiration, or termination. Some residual copies may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or archival systems before deletion.

Retention periods may vary based on the type of data, plan, support needs, security requirements, legal obligations, and technical limitations.

9. Your Choices and Requests

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information.

You may contact us to request updates to account information, removal of inactive accounts, deletion of certain service data, or clarification about what information is stored.

Some requests may be limited if the information is needed for billing records, security logs, abuse investigations, legal compliance, dispute resolution, backup integrity, or continued service operation.

10. Children’s Privacy

The service is intended for users who are able to enter into a binding agreement or who use the service with appropriate parent, guardian, or organizational permission.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a way that violates applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

11. International Users

The service may be operated from the United States or other locations where infrastructure, providers, or support systems are located. By using the service, you understand that information may be processed and stored in locations outside your state, province, or country.

Privacy laws may differ depending on your location. We will handle requests and obligations according to applicable law where required.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the service after updates means you acknowledge the revised policy.
